Faculty Adviser to Student HR Manager

Dr. Linda Wayerski is an Associate Professor and National Faculty Chair for College of Business and Management.  Dr. Wayerski started with DeVry as a Visiting Professor back in 2007 and has been a full-time faculty member since 2018. Dr. Wayerski teaches in the following disciplines: Critical Thinking, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, and Human Resources. Dr. Wayerski’ s education is the following: undergraduate degree in Political Science (BA) from Fort Hays State University. Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Baker University, Masters in Human Resource Management (MHRM) from Keller Graduate School of Management, Masters in Public Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Ph.D. from Northcentral University in Organizational Leadership.Dr. Wayerski enjoys working with her students. Teaching at DeVry/Keller has been very rewarding. She loves sharing her 25 plus years of leadership experience in the areas of marketing, finance, human resources, and team building. Dr. Wayerki has held positions in the industry of pet care as a business partner, administrator, regional field leadership, and as a human resource partner. She is very active with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).In her free time, she enjoys bingeing on NetFlix with her retired Navy husband Todd. When not teaching or watching Netflix she is painting, playing saxophone, and playing pickle-ball.
